Although we use ONLY FDA approved cosmetic grade face painting supplies. We are not liable for allergic reactions to
paints. People with skin allergies or sensitive skin should either not participate, or have Artist perform a patch test at the
beginning of the party. Client understands that darker face paints will linger and must be removed with mild soap, water
and washcloth. For safety reasons, Artists will not paint children under 2 years old or anyone who is unwilling. For
sanitary reasons, Artists will not paint anyone who is or appears to the Artist to be sick or suffering from cold sores,
conjunctivitis, ringworm, sunburn, eczema, any infectious skin condition or open wounds. These determinations are at
the Artist’s discretion. Artists will use reasonable care, but is not responsible for damage to clothing or property. The
Client agrees to pay for any accidents or injuries caused by pets or guests, and/or any damage to Artist’s equipment or
supplies caused by pets, lawn sprinklers, or guests. Under no circumstances will Artists supervise children. Their
behavior and safety is the Client’s and/or Parents’ responsibility.
Painting/Painters: Averages $60 to $100 Per Hour Per Artist with a 1 Hour Minimum based on how many hours/type of
event. Call or email to get your hourly rate. One Artist can paint approximately 6 to 14 faces per hour depending on the
intricacy of the designs that are chosen. Be sure to book your time accordingly to avoid leaving anyone out. PLEASE do
not ask us to disappoint any guests due to lack of time booked. Sometimes we have an event booked right after yours
and we may not be able to stay past stop time contracted here. If you exceed the time booked and we are available to
stay, it will be charged in half hour increments. Client will pay for the time booked plus overrun, even if Client has
delayed the time we start the actual painting. All charges are due on the day of the event. Client must pay for a
minimum of 1 hour even if Client uses Artists for less than 1 hour. Completed contract must be received 14 calendar
days prior to event or client runs the risk of losing that date.
Limitations on Artwork
Artist will not paint on any part of the body that is not legal to expose, or anyplace she does not feel comfortable
painting. Artist will not paint any design or wording that is obscene, offensive, and violent or defies good taste.
Artists will not paint subject matter she deems offensive or disturbing
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Should you for any reason postpone or reschedule, there will be a fee of $25 for each date postponed or rescheduled. I
will transfer your Retainer Fee only in the instance I have not turned away other opportunities to paint at, from your
original scheduled date & time.
In the instance that you would like to reschedule services, I will do my best to accommodate a mutually agreeable date
based on my availability and schedule.
In the instance that you have to cancel my services, please remember that my retainer fee ($30) is nonrefundable.
Cancellation: If the Client cancels the event, the retainer is not refunded. When the event is rescheduled within one
year, the retainer fee will be credited toward the new event. If a cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the event start
time, payment is due in full. Should I become sick or have an emergency, the retainer will be refunded and I will make
every effort to find a replacement artist for your event.
The Client may request time beyond the time booked if the guest numbers are unexpectedly larger than planned. The
Client must make this request to me directly, and I will stay if my schedule allows. Extra time will be billed at my hourly
rate rounded up to the nearest quarter hour.
Photo Consent & Release
By having your guests face painted and photographed, permission is thereby granted to use images for my portfolio,
marketing materials such as printed brochures or website gallery images. No names are ever revealed for any reason. If
for any reason you do not agree, please inform me and you and your guests’ privacy will be respected.
Convenient parking close to the entrance of the event must be provided to allow for easy loading and unloading of
equipment. Parking fees at venues or tolls associated with extended travel must be pre-paid or reimbursed by client.
If the events located more than 20 miles from the Galleria mall of Houston, we will charge $1.50 for every extra mile.
This fee will cover the artist’s gas money and traveling time.
Please advise me in advance if washroom/restroom, and/or running water service are not available at the event venue.
Artist agrees to provide services of general face painting using only Professional Theatrical Cosmetic grade FDA
approved products on said dates with acceptance of 50% deposit. For any reason, should Facemoji be unable to
accommodate your paid booking with an artist, a full refund of your deposit will be returned to you or you may receive
your next event for the equal amount of time with no further payment required. Artist has the right to cease painting
and leave if there is extreme adverse weather or otherwise conditions that make it unsafe or uncomfortable for the
artist to paint.
Client agrees to pay the full amount of booked time upon arrival of face painting services. The client will be
responsible for any fees or expenses, including attorney’s fees, incurred in connection with collecting delinquent
amounts owed to Facemoji under this Agreement. To provide sheltered area in event of rain or as needed. To provide
shaded area in extreme heat as supplies can melt. If there is a cancellation of this contract at any time before the date of
event, Facemoji shall be entitled to recover 50% of the fee set forth. Exceptions to cancellation: Extreme weather
conditions or Act of God.
